iPhone Users Care About Security too
iPhone users use their phone for just about everything: making calls, receiving text messages, viewing email, conducting mobile banking, playing games, and even storing music, photos, and videos. With all this activity, iPhone users also care about the security of their personal data — but many don’t take the simple steps recommended to secure all that information. And because 22 percent of iPhone owners also own an iPad, this goes for iPads as well.

A Modern History of Human Communication - by Google Voice :)
Google posted this infographic, A Modern History of Human Communication, on the Official Google Mobile Blog as part of their opening up the Google Voice service to everyone.  It’s no longer an invite-only service. And they say:

To put things in context, we created this infographic to visualize some recent history of human communication and how Google Voice uses the web to help people communicate in more ways than ever before…

How a Cell Phone Call Works?
We use our cell phones all day, every day, but did you ever wonder what is really going on when you make or receive a call? Of course there are towers that we see dotting the landscape and it’s obvious that they make this all possible, but exactly how? Here is a detailed look at how cell phone calls actually work.

Mobile Marketing: What’s The Siza of Mobile Market?
Microsoft Tag has just released a neat infographic highlighting statistics on how people are using mobile phones in 2011. I also dug up a great video that featured late last year with an array of great mobile “growth” statistics, stats and facts for 2011.
The infographic shows that over 1 billion of the worlds 4+ billion mobiles phones are now smartphones, and 3 billion are SMS enabled (weirdly, 950 million mobile phones still don’t have SMS capabilities). In 2014, mobile internet usage will overtake desktop internet usage and already in 2011, more than 50% of all “local” searches are done from a mobile device.
86% of mobile users are watching TV while using a mobile phone, 200+ million (1/3 of all users) access Facebook from a mobile device and 91% of all mobile internet use is “social” related.

About

Federico Nano, Tech Entrepreneur. Working and living in the world of mobile technology since 2005. Focused on Digital Money, Mobile Wallets & Payments as Co-founder & CEO at Codamation.

I like building Companies, books, movies, basketball and music. And the food and drink, of course. And women, but I'm retired, or rather dedicated to my wife (although time to time she doesn't believe it).

A good guy... Mostly.

One Mobile Watcher talks about the Mobile Tech World that I know & some pics about Business Tek, Entrepreneurship, Starts Ups, Social Media, Internet... And maybe some music or basketball stuff.

Only one question: why to be blogger while there is an easier & strongly solution like Twitter :p
